How to use

Apply Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) once a day in the evening. Wash your hands and face thoroughly before applying and remove any make-up and contact lenses. You can put contact lenses back in 15 minutes after using this medication. Apply the solution with a sterile applicator along the base of the upper eyelid. Do not apply these drops on the lower lid or in the eyes as this may cause unwanted hair growth outside the treatment area. Blot any excess solution applied outside the eyelid margin. Throw away the applicator after use and use a new sterile applicator for the other eye.

Do not rinse your eye if any medication gets in it by accident. Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) is sold under a different brand name as a treatment for glaucoma, so it is not harmful when it comes into contact with the eyes.

Use Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) regularly to enjoy its maximum benefits and try to apply the medication at approximately the same time every evening. Do not use more of this solution than recommended. It may take up to 2 months before you see the full benefits of this medication.

Overdose

Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) may be harmful if swallowed.

If you suspect this medication has been swallowed or that you have taken too much of this medication, contact your local poison control center or the emergency medical services immediately.

Missed dose

If you miss a dose of Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost), take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for your next scheduled dosage, skip the missed dose and take the next one instead. Do not attempt to double up on this medication to make up for a missed dose.

Notes

Do not share this medication with others as they may have a condition that is not adequately treated with Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost).

Storage

Store Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C ) and keep away from light and moisture. KEEP THIS AND ALL MEDICATIONS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

Precautions

Before taking Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost), inform your doctor of your medical history, including:

• Any allergies
• Eye pressure problems (such as glaucoma)
• Other eye problems (such as macular edema, iritis, uveitis, lens extraction/aphakia)

If you currently have or ever have had any of the above conditions you may not be able to take this medication or you may need a dosage adjustment.

If you develop a new eye condition (e.g. infection, eye surgery or injury) while using Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost), you should ask your doctor whether you should start using a new bottle.

Inform your optometrist or ophthalmologist that you are using this medication if you are having your eye pressure tested.

Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) is classed as Pregnancy Category C by the FDA, which means it is not known whether this medication can be harmful to an unborn child. Do not take this medication without informing your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant during treatment. Discuss the benefits and risk of taking this medication while pregnant with your doctor.

It is not know whether Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing infant. Talk with your doctor before taking this medication if you are currently breastfeeding.

Drug Interactions

Before taking Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost), inform your doctor of all other medications you are currently using, including:

• Certain glaucoma eye drops (such as bimatoprost, latanoprost, travoprost)

This is only a partial list of possible interactions and others may occur. Inform your doctor of all prescription and non-prescription medication you are currently using, including dietary supplements, vitamins, herbal pills and medication prescribed by another doctor. Do not stop or start taking any medication without consulting your doctor first.

The following common side effects of Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost) may occur:

• Redness of the eye
• Discomfort
• Itching
• Dry eyes

If any of the above side effects persist or worsen, you should notify your doctor promptly.

Inform your doctor straightaway if any of the following unlikely but serious side effects occur:

• Eye pain
• A suspected eye infection (discharge, unusual redness, swelling of the eyes)
• Rapid vision changes (e.g. loss of vision)

In rare cases, you may experience a very serious allergic reaction to Generic Latisse (Bimatoprost). Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any of the following symptoms:

• Rash
• Itching or swelling (especially of the face, tongue or throat)
• Severe dizziness
• Trouble breathing

This is only a partial list of potential side effects and others may occur. Notify your doctor immediately if you experience any other side effects than the ones mentioned above, especially if they are bothersome.
